Franchisees seeing "failed" on the top of their audit report in red, can be a demotivating force. Some franchisors want to change the status. While an audit that has failed cannot be changed post-facto, there is a way to change the status for future audits in the template.

In this article, we will look at the default status, and the changed status. We will also go through the steps on how to change your questionnaire, so franchisees no longer see "failed".

Default Status on Failed Audits

The "failed" status appears on the email

As well as on the audit itself.

Updated Status

The "Needs Improvement" status shows on the e-mail in yellow instead of red.

It also appears on the questionnaire itself.

How to Change the Questionnaire

To get started, go to Collaboration > Field Audits > Questionnaires > Click on Relevant Questionnaire > Settings

In the Questionnaire Settings, you can see a way to change both the color and the label.

In this example, I want to create a more positive schema for my franchisees that encourage them to feel better about their scores.

  • Greater than 95: Excellent
  • Between 86-95: Good
  • Between 76-86: Satisfactory
  • Less than 76: Needs Improvement

To change the label, type on the colored area where is, for example, I type over it to create Excellent

To change the colors, select the dropdown to the right.

See the updated labels and colors below.

Press Save and Close to complete the process.
