If FranchiseBlast detects that there is no internet connectivity, it will switch to offline mode. In general, you should try to be online when using FranchiseBlast, but we have this feature in place for when connectivity is not possible.
For a demo of offline mode, please review this video.
When in offline mode, you should see the WIFI symbol in a red circle as indicated on the top right. While in this mode you can continue with the audit, and upload photos where needed. These will not be saved to the server, but instead it will be saved to your device. You will need to reconnect to the internet to submit the audit.
Synching Data and Submitting the Audit
The next time the device is online, all of the locally saved data will then synch with FranchiseBlast and your audit will update accordingly. The synching status will display in green at the bottom of the screen. At that time, the submit button will become available.
If you have a persistent issue with synching data, please contact support@franchiseblast.com.
Managing Offline Mode VS. Server Conflicts
In the event that there is a conflict with the offline mode versus what is on our server, you will see this message.
This can be caused by scenarios where you've opened up and potentially modified an audit on another computer (ex: laptop) before the device had finished synching its offline data. If you see this message and have no answered question on the server, please always select the button for "Keep Offline Version".
