In order to get the full benefit from the Smart Email function in FranchiseBlast, you will want to set up your default email client. In these instructions, you will see how to do this for Chrome which is the recommended browser for FranchiseBlast. 


Open Chrome and navigate to ... on the right then to Settings.



Go to Privacy and Security then Site Settings. Once there, click Additional Permissions, then Handlers. 



Switch on the Ask protocol and make it Gmail, MS Outlook, etc.



With this, you should have the default email set. If you are setting it to Gmail, see more instructions below. 

Further Gmail Instructions


Open Gmail in Chrome and click the Diamond Protocol Handler icon in the browser search bar.



Click Allow Gmail to open all email links.
