The timeline feature in FranchiseBlast helps you see the history of all communication with a franchise. You can also use this feature to:
- Add a note
- Log a call
- View Smart Email Addresses
This information is viewable by franchisor users only, and is NOT open to franchisee users.
This is done through a specific permission that grants access to the store timeline. Most franchisors choose to give this access exclusively to franchisor staff.
To get started, go to Stores > Select Relevant Store > Timeline
On this screen, you can see a history of all notes and calls added on this store, from both yourself and other franchisor colleagues.
All notes that were added before June 2020 will be ported here from the Franchise Info tab.
To add a call or note, click on the blue circle on the bottom, and some icons will appear.
Add a Note
Get started by clicking on the page icon. |
Fill in the note text, then click Log Note to save, or Discard Draft if you don't want to keep it.
Log a Call
Get started by clicking on the phone icon.
Add in the following information:
- Topic
- Date and Time
- Participants (from a dropdown of FranchiseBlast users)
- Note
Fill in the call text, then click Log Call to save, or Discard Draft if you don't want to keep it.
Find Out How to Add Email
Get started by clicking on the email icon.
To copy, click on the icon beside the email, and copy it into your email client, similar to the below.
When receiving a reply, copy an email for the relevant user in the When Receiving Reply list.
Emails will then appear in the timeline, alongside notes and calls. Learn more about Smart Email here.
