Sometimes polls require locations to be added or removed during the course of it. Examples of this situation include:

  • A new location opens
  • A location closes, permanently or temporarily
  • The poll is not relevant for a location (for example, a promotion is not taking place in their area)

To create some flexibility, we have made it straightforward for users to add or remove locations during an active poll.

To get started, go to Collaboration --> Polls --> Click on Relevant Poll --> Click on Results.

Please note that to do any of the actions below, the poll must be in an Active status (as opposed to Closed).

Adding Locations

To get started, click on the green [+] on the bottom left, as indicated below.

A box will then appear for you to enter in the relevant store. Click on the box to see a drop-down of options, or begin typing the name of the store. In this example, we added in Encino.

This process works well for one-time polls.

If you have a repeating poll, such as one that fires on a daily or weekly basis, the stores will need to be added to the store group. Learn about editing store groups here.

Removing Locations

Franchisees will be reminded of the poll as long as they have not answered. If you want to stop reminding the franchisee of the poll, click on the [...] next to the relevant store. Click on Stop Polling.
