FranchiseBlast administrators can grant and revoke permissions to people in Administration -> People -> Users to control which actions every user can do in the system. 


Permissions are ordered by the module within the FranchiseBlast application suite. 



Grant and revoke access by moving the slider on the right of the description. When the slider is green and marked Granted, access is given. When the slider is grey, and marked Revoked, it is taken away. 


Default Permissions

There are typically added to the three common type of accounts in Franchiseblast.


  • High level executives & franchisors
  • Franchisor staff & franchise business consultants
  • Franchisees


The following are permissions that should be granted as a default set of permissions for accounts of each type with Field Audit plans below.


Senior Executives and Franchisors

  • Approve field audits.
  • Access tasks and action plans.
  • Access to the audit section.
  • Edit action plan templates
  • Edit audit questionnaires.
  • Initiate action plans in the context of a store
  • Perform audits.
  • Sends you notifications when customer satisfaction comes in.
  • Franchisor permission.
  • View and edit stores in the stores page.


Franchisor Staff and Franchise Business Consultants


  • Access to the audit section.
  • Access to tasks and action plans.
  • Changes sitemap to Essentials (reduced access) 
  • Changes the sitemap to reduce it even further. Essentials role must also be set.
  • Initiate action plans in the context of a store
  • Perform audits.
  • Required role to be able to login.
  • Sends you notifications when customer satisfaction comes in.
  • User is Franchisor staff. Marker role to identify junior-level franchisor employees.
  • View and edit stores in the stores page.


Franchisees

  • Access the audit section.
  • Access tasks and action plans.
  • Changes sitemap to Essentials (reduced access) 
  • Changes the sitemap to reduce it even further. Essentials role must also be set.
  • Required role to be able to login.
  • User is a Franchisee (mutually exclusive with Franchisor).
  • View and edit stores in the stores page.
